GEOFF​ DEAN

Introduction  

 

 

‘’Geoff has been performing as a professional entertainer and singer since the age of twenty four and is an accomplished keyboard artist and vocalist. 

 

His earliest performances included playing keyboards for the band ‘Kashmir Gyro’ and singing as one half of the duo ‘Kleen Kut’ and later the quick change cabaret act ‘Millennium’  

 

In the early 90s Geoff developed his solo career singing the popular hits from the 60s through to the 90s, performing at several Holiday Camps including Butlins and Pontins, and taking up a part time residency at the Margate Butlins Hotels. 

 

Other Venues include The Winter Gardens, Blackpool, Eastbourne and Margate, The Kings Hall, Herne Bay, The Pavilion Westgate on Sea, many of the top Hotels in Eastbourne, Social Clubs throughout Kent, Essex, Sussex and Surrey. Geoff has performed at a variety of corporate events from Golf Club presentation evenings, Mason’s events to the Thanet Mayor’s Ball and has also entertained many audiences at weddings, special occasions and parties. 

 

Geoff developed his cabaret style of entertaining through the late 90s and became half of the swing act ‘Frank and Dean’ singing the popular songs from the American songbook made famous by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. This led to him forming the Rat-Pack tribute trio ‘Three to Swing’, later renamed ‘Oceans Three’, and the cabaret swing duo ‘Back to Back’.  

 

He was also one half of the more contemporary duo ‘Full Circuit’ mixing a swing set with popular songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Never one to stand still Geoff and his partner from ‘Full Circuit’ gradually added a Blues Brothers tribute to their performance and they still regularly perform for themed dinner and dance evenings at a variety of local restaurants.

 

For over thirty years, despite his team working Geoff has always maintained and guarded his solo career and has continued to develop his keyboard music and vocal talent. In recent years adding the AX Synth ‘Keytar’ to his skills  and he continually adds new songs to his vast song list and repertoire which  includes The British and American songbooks; Pop and Rock from the 50s, 60s,70s, 80s and 90s; Hall and Oats, 10cc, Marc Bolan, Phil Collins, Gordon Lightfoot, Frankie Valli, Beach Boys,Stephen Bishop, The Searchers, Mark Almond, Duran Duran, Heaven 17, Billy Joel, Joe Jackson, Status Quo, Charle Rich, Barry White, John Lennon, Little River Band, Thompson Twins, Madness, Bill Withers, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Turtles, Mud, Earth Wind and fire, Glen Campbell, Chris Rea, The Kinks, E.L.O, The Cars, Level 42, Gerry Rafferty, Neil Sedaka, The Beatles, Elvis, Cliff Richard, The Monkees, The Mavericks etc; Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jnr, Bobby Darrin, Nat King Cole, Paul Anka, Matt Monro, Johnny Mathis, Andy Williams and many more.  Full song lists here.
